Shit!

I’ll be turning 50 this year.

What was meant to be a belated birthday gift to myself for turning 40 did not materialize in the form(publication) or any form for that matter that I had envisioned.

It took 5 more years later for me to finally get around to do something with these writings.

Instead of a hardcopy publication, ‘Dreaming in the City of Mud’ is now a blog where I will upload old and new writings about life, art and interviews with artists, musicians, writers etc. and other related stuffs.

I guess the intention remains unchanged, that ‘there is no reason for this other than an acknowledgement that a random individual such as myself exists while giving homage to the city and its people that has made my life interesting’.

My appreciation and gratitude to my friend the visual artist Gan Siong King for his support and effort in making this possible.
